The Diamond Sutra is a Mahayana Buddhist scripture, translated by Kumārajīva and introduced into China. I am converting the text into sound, then transforming the sound into a 3D-printed plastic relief. This work is a translation of a translated Buddhist text in other words, changing the dissemination via followers has been remodelled into a neutral visual object. The sound is solidified, condensed into carbon-lattice structure. While carbon is the basis of all structures on this earth.
