Tsherin Sherpa is a part of Labyrinthus Universi: Himalayan Contemporary Art, opening on 9 September at Tainan Art Museum. Curated by Nobuo Takamori, the exhibition brings together contemporary artists from Nepal and Bhutan, two nations in the Himalayas that actively reimagine the role of tradition in an era shaped by globalisation. In Gallery L/M, Tsherin Sherpa's solo exhibition Cosmos and Identities features his classic Spirits series and new pieces created for Tainan. Drawing from traditional imagery and the visual language of Pop Art, he reassembles and transforms motifs into dynamic abstract compositions that reflect diasporic experiences.
