Vanishing Point is the first Sydney exhibition by Szelit Cheung. Drawn directly from the architecture of day01, the full-width pivoting wall and fold-down desk form a minimalist design vocabulary treated here as material rather than backdrop. Intimate in scale and precisely composed, Cheung's paintings shift in perspective and orientation from work to work. Each work holds between opening and folding, arrival and recession, drawn in a restrained vocabulary of forms, lines and structures.
