The 2024 edition of the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, titled After Rain is now open to the public. This biennial exhibition features the works of renowned artists Siah Armajani and Rasheed Araeen, among others.
The Biennale's curatorial theme examines the intricate relationship between humanity and the natural world. Through a combination of artistic practices such as inhabiting, cultivating, harvesting, searching, and sharing, the featured works engage with the human-nature continuum. They explore the built environment, observe the state of surrounding landscapes, recount histories, and encourage visitors to listen more closely to the delicate balance of ecosystems.
The exhibition, curated by Ute Meta Bauer, is open to the public from February 20th - May 24th, 2024
