GHOSTLY, GODLY / 人間 has developed through long-term research and sustained dialogue with the participating artists, taking shape as a project rooted in the specific conditions of Hong Kong’s artistic ecology. Curated by Chris Wan and made possible through the full support of Octone Foundation, this exhibition departs from conventional commission-based and theme-led exhibition models.
It features a series of mixed-media collages created by Ha Bik Chuen for the 1998 Hong Kong Art Biennial. These works were not selected at that time and remained unseen for years until their first-ever public debut here, almost three decades after their completion. Incorporating household deity plaques and rubbings of steles, the series evolves from Ha's printmaking practice.
This exhibition runs through 8 April, 2026.
