Christopher Doyle awarded the Pierre Angeniueux ExcelLens Award for Cinematography at the 70th Cannes Film Festival

At the 70th Cannes Film Festival, Christopher Doyle was awarded the Pierre Angeniueux ExcelLens for Cinematography tribute. Every year, this award is given to a director of photography whose work is recognised to have marked the history of world cinema. Christopher Doyle is the 5th to be awarded this tribute after Philippe Rousselot (2013), Vilmos Zsigmond (2014), Roger A. Deakins (2015) and Peter Suschitzky (2016).
