8 Over 8

Hong Kong08 Aug – 28 Aug 2017
  • “A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” – Salvador Dali

Supported by the Hong Kong Arts Centre, the University College London (UCL) Alumni Hong Kong Club, Rossi & Rossi is pleased to announce an exhibition celebrating the talent of young, local artists working within a global context.

Titled 8 over 8, the exhibition features eight emerging artists from Hong Kong who live and work in London. The works presented—which range from painting to performance—interpret the number “8” as a motif through the exploration of themes of Time, Memory, Identity and Language.

Curated by Alexandra Choa as part of the city’s summer art season, 8 Over 8 features the art of An Gee Chan, Lim Bob Chan, Kelly Chan, Kristy Marcelle Chan, Kin-Ting Li, Cyrus Hung, Katharine Tsang and Arielle Tse.
